21 Savage Arrested In The US For Violation Of Federal Immigration Law
The Immigration and Customs Enforcement(ICE) have arrested Grammy-nominated rapper 21 Savage being in the US illegally since 2006.
Prior to now, Rapper 21 Savage was known to be a native of Georgia but a recent report has it that the rapper was arrested for violation of federal immigration law in the US.
As of the time of this report, 21 Savage is in the custody of Immigration officers and he has been accused of breaking immigration laws by overstaying in the country.
A spokesman to ICE said that the rapper actually migrated to the US from the UK and has been in the US illegally since 2006.
Mr. Abraham-Joseph aka 21 Savage was implicated when he was found in a car with another rapper who has been targeted for a criminal case, it was then they went on a background check and discovered that he was not even a legal resident of the US and that was where he got arrested and is currently placed in “removal proceedings before the federal immigration courts.”
Dina LaPolt, the rapper’s lawyer, told The Washington Post in a statement that she is trying to get him released and “clear up any misunderstandings.”
