Mpumi Mzobe wrote “Sekumnandi” when a producer known as DJ SK tagged her on instagram, on a beat he had recently produced. When she listened to the beat she loved it as it inspired a happy, feel good melodies and lyrics, and on the spot she composed the song. Sekumnandi is a festive, celebratory house song that encourages good vibes, dancing, having a good time, and creating happy memories that one can look back at with a smile on their face and a desire to do it again.
