I cannot begin to describe the grace of God towards my family and me in this season. I had never known grief until mum crossed over to heaven. I sympathized with those who mourned but never fully comprehended and until it happened to me did I really get a glimpse of what it means to rely on God for strength. Like many people, I felt empty, lonely, frustrated, lost, and all kinds of emotions. Right there, I could hear Jesus’ reassurance saying “I am here,” “I am right here with you,” “you can rely on me,” “you can cry on my shoulder,” “I’ve got you covered,” “you shall overcome.”

I can’t say that I am where I want to be for sure, It’s a journey I am taking one day at a time but I can boldly tell you that God is in every detail of every day of our lives. So priceless person reading this, maybe i don’t understand your pain, maybe it is dark where you are, maybe the future looks blurry, however, You are not alone, God is right there where you are. So if you must cry, cry. If you must scream, do it but whatever you do, do not hide, do not run away from his presence, total restoration is found in His presence, your healing shall be in his presence. Come like a child, cast all your cares on Him, let Him sing over you. He ( our God ) is right where You are, You are not alone.

I wrote this song a week before mum passed, I didn’t know God was preparing me then, but I know it well now. Beloved God is with you.
